I agree that green looks good on a chesnut, but I absolutely LOVE hot pink for chesnuts.
Reply:I love red and green too, but just try different colors on him and see witch is best. Normaly dark colors are the best.

Reply:well, forest green looks really good, but also lime green. my favorite for all of the chestnuts on the farm is flourescent orange!

Reply:I'd have to agree. Every chestnut I've ever owned has worn green. Definitely stay away from red or purple. Blue is alright too, I'm a redhead and I tend to stick to wearing blues and greens, so if its good enough for me I figure its good enough for my horse(s) ;)
