I never like putting black and brown together, even if it's a jacket and boot.

Reply:Black and brown can go together. Simply have another color to go with them. For example, black looks good with just about any richer color. Brown looks good with several of those as well. Find one that you like that looks good with black and also with brown. That will help to pair the outfit together. Plus you can always try using accessories like a good bag that have both black and brown in them. What ever you do, just don't do a light color pant or skirt with them. The light will make the two darker colors appear to clash more. I suggest a jewel tone top with another neutral for the bottom that works with both the coat and boots.

Reply:you can but it will look sort of odd. black DOES NOT go with everything contrary to popular belief. bleack with any variation of brown looks bad because they are both base colors. so black with tan, brown, etc. looks bad to me. you normally build an outfit around one of them, not both of them. but if thats the only coat you have then you have no choice but to wear it. cant sacrifice health for fashion.
