What color halter would go well with my chestnut horse?

i have a chestnut mare, but i dont know what color halter to get her!?!

What color halter would go well with my chestnut horse?
I have a chestnut horse and I put her in yellow, light pink, neon pink, marroon, zebra, green (all shades), purple, blue and burberry plaid.





I found that orange is pretty much the only color that will clash with her coloring. The zebra and yellow are my favorites, though, because it really stands out and you can use fun colored leads!
Reply:Hi, that's a good question! I used to have a chart that said which colors look best on certain horse colors. Unfortunately I can't find right now. But, I do remember that red, green, blue, and maybe purple was on it. I have a chestnut/sorrel horse and he wears a red halter. But, I'd like to try blue. I almost think that would look better.

Reply:things that match her rugs etc black goes with everything, but a chestnut horse always looks nice in red or maroon, maybe electric blue or even green which dark bays look really good in. Also, natural beiges look nice too
Reply:I have a chestnut gelding and all his stuff is blue! I just love blue! and I think it looks really great on chestnut and sorrel horses!! Also light blue and dark blue both go really well!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:I have a chestnut and her halter is bright green. Other colours that go well are bright blue, hunter green, dark purple and bright red.
Reply:DEFINALTEY either Hunter Green or Burgundy/Maroon. Id go with Burgandy if you have a mare :D Or better yet, a leather halter with a silver name plate :)
Reply:I love orange or yellow with a chestnut. Back when I had my last chestnut there werent many orange or yellows around so I always bought a dark green for him.

Reply:just about anything goes with chestnut. i think it would be cute to have like a melon or coral color. like a pinkish orange. =)
Reply:I agree with Cindy B...I would go with royal blue or a cobalt blue. that would be really flashy against a chestnut color.
