What is a good subsitute for chestnut?

I am making some soup that calls for a small amount of chestnuts, but I cannot locate them at the store. What is a good substitute?

What is a good subsitute for chestnut?
Look in the yellow pages in the phone book for local health food stores. Use the chestnuts as they offer more then flavor to soups. No good substitutes that I can think of, other than soups that don’t require them:)
